Carlos Ortega Design

Carlos started his education in furniture design and making in 1997.

In 2001 he enrols the London Metropolitan University, he graduates BA (Hons) in Furniture and Product Design in 2004, and starts working in a variety of workshops and studios.

He gains experience projecting and making design solutions, mainly using wood, and learns from both materials and processes.

In 2011 Gloria joins the team and COD is born to bring to you Carlos’ products.

They are designs driven by the material application and the manufacturing processes, and the result always answers a question, an idea, on a sustainable and contemporary approach, as we pay special attention to durability, physically and emotionally, and always try to achieve a unique look.

We produce honest products always under demand, this allows us to customize materials and finishes, and to control every aspect of the process.

All our products are made to order.

Once you place your order,  you receive the products in max 7 weeks time (we'll let you know the exact date of arrival).

For each order we choose the most appropriate carrier (UPS, DHL, MRW, SEUR..).

The customer should only accept merchandise that they believe to be in perfect condition.

If the customer decides to accept merchandise with visible signs of wear and possible damage, this MUST be noted on the delivery form next to their signature.

Following this, the customer must contact Carlos Ortega Design within 24 hours MAXIMUM, informing us of this damage, and any damage they may have found on the furniture, indicating their order number and attaching photographs from both content and packaging, and making sure to keep the original packaging.

Without photographic evidence we may not be able to process the incident.

We will be happy to replace any damaged or missing pieces which may be found at the time of delivery.
