2) Each video code must be separated by two tags, like this:
<br />
<br />
If necessary, write a caption or title for each video under the two tags, then add two more tags before copying and pasting the code for another video.

3.   How to register a product for sale

A. Click on the “catalog/add new product” tab at the top.
B. Upload a product image, generate a thumbnail, then validate.
C. Fill in the information requested, then validate at the bottom of the page (the “ESD distribution” field is reserved for digital products: see below).
D. The “price” field is your product’s selling price before tax. It should be quoted in US$ because the site will automatically calculate the conversion to £ and € (real-time conversion using European Central Bank rates).
E. If your “tax exempt: yes/no” is “no”, then specify the value for the “apply taxes: VAT” field by clicking on the “shipping and taxes/tax rates” tab above:
1) Click on the available “tax rates”: “VAT (0 rates defined)”.
2) Enter a “rate value” in % for a selected “zone”. The tax value is usually 0 when an order is shipped outside your country (in that case, do nothing), but you have to obtain information about a “rate value” for shipments within your country. You therefore must first create the “zone” for your country (see “How to define geographic zones and shipping fees for orders”).
3) Once the “zone” for your country is created, apply the tax by selecting “add” DST in the scroll-down menu and click on “add”. Then click on “+” and select “add” SH in the scroll-down menu, and then click on “add” (do not add “add” SH if you do not want the tax to be applied to shipping costs as well). Finally, click on “add” at the bottom.
F. The “short description” field provides information for the “details, size & fit” tab on your product fact sheet on the site:
1) For products in “fashion” stores and “multi-brand boutiques”, consumers use the “size conversion chart” provided on the site, but you can add your own details in the “short description” field.
2) Also add information about the composition of your products, materials, sizes, net weight, colors, etc.
3) The “shipping & payment” field is used to inform your customers of your shipping costs based on geographic areas and your carriers (see “zones” and “shipping costs” below), but is also used to inform your customers about your return policy on products.
a) If you are a professional, the law requires you to accept returns on products.
b) Remember to fill in the “product return time (days)” field below each product fact sheet (see product “return” below).
G. You can decide to make a product unavailable by selecting “disabled” from the “availability” scroll-down menu on the “product management” fact sheet. To make it available again, just select “available for sale.”
H. The following fields are not mandatory: “search keyword”, “detailed description”, “title tag”, “META keywords”, “META description”, “shipping freight ($)”, “use the dimensions of this product for shipping cost calculation”, “shipping box dimensions (inches)”, “ship in a separate box”, “quantity per shipping box”, “apply global discounts.”

4.   How to add other images to illustrate a product

A. To add secondary images for your product, click on “detailed images” at the top right of the “product management” fact sheet.
B. Click on “browse”, choose the secondary image and validate it. The secondary image appears on the site under the main image.

5.   How to cross-sell your products

A. To cross-sell one of your products with others, click on “related products” in the list at the top right of the “product management” fact sheet.
B. Click on “browse”, double-click on the left on the category in which the other product you want to cross-sell is registered, double-click at the right on the product selected and click on “add”. This product now appears on the site under the cross-sell product fact sheet in the “more from this store” slideshow.
C. Before you click on “add”, if you want both products to be mutually cross-sold, check the “bidirectional link” box.
D. The cross-selling tool lets you introduce your customers to part of your catalogue from a single product fact sheet.

6.   How to put a product on sale in the “sweet prices” store

A. For your product to be visible at the same time in the “sweet prices” promotional store, fill in the “list price (market price)” field (always before tax) on the “product management” fact sheet, which is the previous selling price, and also change the “price” field (always before tax): for example $100 = list price and $50 = price.
B. Your product then displays on the site the previous price (list price) stroked out and the new selling price (price), and also appears in the “sweet prices” store.
C. Your sales commission is based on the sales price before tax (price), not on the previous price (list price) that has been stroked out.

7.   How to set a stock level

A. The stock available is visible on the site and is updated after each order (quantity available).
B. For your product to be available at all times, fill in the “low limit in stock” and “quantity in stock (items)” fields in the “product management” fact sheet.
C. When the “quantity in stock (items)” for your product is at 0, it remains visible on the site but can no longer be ordered.
D. You can quickly update your stock levels by clicking on the “catalog/products” tab at the top, then “search” to display all your products. Then just change the “quantity in stock” and click on “update” below. This stock update is only possible for products without any “product variants” (see “product variants”).

8.   How to define product options and product variants

A. If required by your product, add “product options”:
1) Click on “product options” in the list at the right, at the top of the “product management” fact sheet.
2) Select an “option group name” from the scroll-down menu: for example size, color or other feature, etc.
3) Enter the options in the “options list” field: for example XS, S, M, etc., or red, blue, brown, etc., and click on “add option group” for the options to be visible on the site.
4) Add or delete as many “option group names” and “options lists” as necessary for each product.
B. Add “product variants”:
1) Click on “product variants” in the list at the right, at the top of the “product management” fact sheet.
2) If necessary, to change the image of the product variant, check the option and click on “change images” below. Upload another image and click on “apply changes”: for example, to change the image for a product from blue to red, etc.
3) If necessary, change the weight of the product variant, the quantity available, the selling price before tax (price) and click on “apply changes”: for example, a product that is more expensive in XXL size than in XS and/or available in smaller quantities than another size, etc.

9.   How to add manufacturers

A. The concept of “manufacturer” indicates a brand name for a multi-brand boutique, a fashion season, a name of an author, a name of a painter for an art gallery, etc. The “manufacturer” is created by the seller but validated by the site.
B. The “manufacturer” appears on the site under the product price.
C. If necessary, add the “manufacturer” concept to the “product management” fact sheet for your product.
D. Select a “manufacturer” then click on “apply changes”.
E. If necessary, first create a “manufacturer” by clicking on the “catalog/manufacturers” tab at the top:
1) Click on “add new” right at the bottom and indicate only the “manufacturer” in the “manufacturer” field, then click on “apply changes”. Never upload a “manufacturer” image and never enter other information.
2) Ask the site to validate your “manufacturer”: seller@klintr.com.
3) Select this “manufacturer” in the “product management” fact sheet for your product then click on “apply changes”.

10. How to add subcategories

If necessary, ask the site to create new subcategories (field: main category) for registering your products: seller@klintr.com.

11. How to put your store “on vacation” when you’re away

If you are absent and cannot validate and ship your orders:
1) Click on your name at the top, then select “activity: on leave” right at the bottom and click on “update”.
2) Your store and all your products remain visible on the site, but the products cannot be ordered.
3) When you return, select “activity: enabled” and click on “update”.

12. How to register a digital product for sale

A. Before registering a digital product for sale, click on the “tools/files” tab at the top, then on “browse” at the bottom (upload file to the current directory).
B. Select the data file then click on “upload”.
C. The file has just been added under “browse files” in the default directory. You can also create another directory first, by clicking on “create” (new directory name).
D. Then proceed as if registering a physical product, but also click on “browse” in the “ESD distribution” field of the “product management” fact sheet, double-click on the selected directory at the left, then double-click on the selected data file at the right, and click on “apply changes” at the bottom. E. For more effective illustration of a digital product on the site, add several secondary “detailed images”: for example, add some images of inside pages to illustrate a book or magazine.

13. How to define geographic zones and shipping fees for orders

Each order incurs shipping costs that are paid to you in full as paid by your customer (in addition to your commission on the product price).
It therefore is important to define geographic zones and shipping costs for each zone.
To avoid charging your customers shipping costs, select “free shipping: yes” in the “product management” fact sheet for each product or for only certain products.

A. Define “destination zones”:
1) Click on the “shipping and taxes/destination zones” tab at the top.
2) Click on “add new”, assign a name to the geographic zone (for example, “Europe”). Click on “create” and select countries at the right or click on the “quick select” zone at the bottom. Select all the countries at the left with the left arrow, then click on “save zone details”.
3) Create a “zone” for your country only.
4) If you create a “quick select” that contains your country, you must delete your country from that list, because a separate zone must be created for your country only.
5) Repeat the operation and add as many “destination zones” as areas where you wish to sell.
B. Define “shipping charges”:
1) Click on the “shipping and taxes/shipping charges” tab at the top.
2) Select a “shipping method” from the “standard ntl/intl” or “express ntl/intl” scroll-down menu (your customer can choose “standard” or “express” shipping in front).
3) Select a “national” or “international” destination from the scroll-down menu: choose "national" for your country which is included in a "destination zones" and select “international” for all other zones.
4) Save “apply rate to: DST” by default.
5) Enter an amount for shipping costs in $ based on product weight, %, per item in the order or as a flat fee per order, etc:
a) The amount of shipping costs based on weight is specific, “per lbs. weight ($)”, but the weight of a product must first be entered in the “product management” fact sheet for product “weight (lbs.)”.
b) An amount for a single shipping cost can be selected, such as a flat fee for each order, “flat charge ($)”, or per product in the order “per item charge ($)”.
6) Click on the “add” button to register these “shipping charges.”
7) Repeat the operation for each zone (your country as national “destination” and every other zone as international “destination”) with the “shipping method: standard ntl/intl” then the “shipping method: express ntl/intl.”
8) Each international geographic zone may therefore offer two “international” shipping costs with two different rates:
a) “shipping method: standard ntl/intl” (international) for each zone
b) “shipping method: express ntl/intl” (international) for each zone
9) The zone for your country may therefore offer two “national” shipping costs with two different rates:
a) “shipping method: standard ntl/intl” (national) for your country
b) “shipping method: express ntl/intl” (national) for your country
10) For your country or for each “destination zone”, you may decide not to ship by “standard ntl/intl” and offer only “express ntl/intl”, a more expensive but also more secure and rapid delivery method, which may require your customer to sign upon receiving the order, through providers such as UPS, DHL or FedEx (recommended to avoid subsequent legal proceedings).
11) You can also decide not to define certain “destination zones” (for example, “Europe”), but customers in that zone will then be unable to order your products and you will lose sales.

14. How to receive and process an order

A. When your customer places an order, you will automatically receive an email from the site: “Congratulations, you have a new sale on klintr!”, as well as an email from PayPal confirming the payment to your PayPal account.
B. To finalize the sale and payment, you must first accept (or decline) the payment within no more than 30 days. To do this, go to your PayPal account and accept the klintr payment.
C. The email from the site indicates the order number, the product ordered, the shipping costs, the delivery address and the invoicing as well as your customer’s email address.
D. Find this order by clicking on the “purchases/this month’s orders” or “purchases/search for orders” tab at the top, then click on the link for the order number at the left:
1) All the information is displayed for processing the order.
2) The “customer notes” and “tracking number” fields are not activated on the site for the moment.
3) For your own purposes, you may also choose to add “order notes (not visible to customer).”
4) You may add a friendly message to your customer on the “leave comment to these changes”. Check the “visible to customer” box, then click on the “apply changes” button.
5) Validate the order by clicking on the “complete the order” button at the very bottom: “After you've changed the order status, the customer who placed the order will be notified about the changes by email.”
6) Find the status and comments for this order (your comments, those from the site and from your customer) by clicking on the “history of changes” link at the top right of the order.
7) Print out the receipt for the order by clicking on the “print receipt” link at the top right of the order, then add this receipt in the parcel for shipment.
8) If, for various reasons (no stock, for example), you cannot validate an order, please contact the site: seller@klintr.com.
E. For orders of digital products, the process is the same but you have no product to ship to your customer.
F. You must never send business information or advertising by email or conventional mail to your customers, otherwise your store on the site will be closed. You also must never offer a customer the option of bypassing the site and must never respond to requests by customers to bypass the site, or your store on the site will be closed.
G. However, you may send customers a friendly email informing them that their order has been processed and shipped. You may also add to this email a link to track the shipment of their order, if that has been sent by a carrier that provides tracking services, such as UPS, DHL or FedEx.

15. How to process a return and refund with PayPal

A. If your customer claims that an order was not received, you are required to issue a refund within the time limit stipulated by legislation in your country (from the date the order is received by your customer), which you have posted on the fact sheet for each product, for your customers’ information (see “How to register a product for sale in your store”), whether you are a professional or individual seller (this is why we recommend “express” delivery to avoid subsequent legal proceedings):
1) When your customer requests a refund, you will receive an email from the site advising you of this.
2) You must go to your PayPal account and issue a full refund of the payment received.
3) The site will then issue a refund to your customer.
4) If you do not wish to issue a refund to your customer, he or she may file a claim with PayPal, but you may also file a claim with PayPal, which will then issue a ruling.
B. If you are a professional seller, your country’s legislation requires you to accept returns of products sold in all cases:
1) If your customer claims that the product was received in damaged condition, then regardless of the reason, you are required to accept the return within the time limit stipulated by your country’s legislation (from the date the order is received by your customer), which you have posted on the fact sheet for each product, for your customers’ information (see “How to register a product for sale in your store”).
2) If your customer is dissatisfied with the order (color, size, features, etc.), then regardless of the reason, you are required to accept the return within the time limit stipulated by your country’s legislation.
C. When your customer wants to return a product, you will receive an email at the same time as the site does: “Return request created”, which is an RMA (a return merchandise authorization) request:
1) This RMA request shows the applicable order number, product, quantity, “reason for return”, “what you would like us to do” and, optionally, a comment from your customer as well.
2) You may also click on the link in the email to find this RMA request in your account: “Please check the return request for this order by clicking here or by viewing your history of changes.”
3) The site notifies your customer that shipping costs for the return are at his or her expense.
4) If your customer sends to the site a confirmation of the RMA request, the site then sends the customer your return address and you will receive an email from the site approving the return by your customer.
5) Upon receiving the product returned by your customer (regardless of condition of the product), you must notify the site and ship your customer another product.

4) Conserver par défaut « apply rate to : DST ».

3) Ajouter éventuellement pour vous-même des « order notes (not visible to customer) ».
4) Ajouter éventuellement un message aimable pour votre client « leave comment to these changes » et cocher la case « visible to customer », puis cliquer sur le bouton « apply changes ».
5) Valider la commande en cliquant sur le bouton « complete the order » tout en bas : « After you've changed the order status, the customer who placed the order will be notified about the changes by email. »

2) Vous pouvez aussi cliquer sur le lien dans l’email pour découvrir cette demande de RMA dans votre compte : « Please check the return request for this order by clicking here or by viewing your history of changes ».
