Who is DARIUS ?
Having worked for about 20 years in the fashion industry for such designers as Kenzo, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Fendi, Gianfranco Ferré... Darius has decided to move toward a new creative challenge.
His meeting with the jewelry designer Valérie Egée was the catalyst to his new passion. Valérie Egée was Darius original mentor, taught him the art of jewelry design, its technics and quest for going beyong what already existed. Darius fusioned his love of design, architecture and sculptures to create what he calls today "artwear". He furthered his jewelry design technics by following the footsteps of the painter and jewelry designer Philippe Deloison at the studio "Delphe" and took some jewelry design technic workshops in Montreux, Switzerland, world capital of fine jewelers.
Darius has his own unique style where each piece makes a statement, a mix of geometric shapes, with a well thought irregularity and where he exploites the materials used to create a mixed of industrial and contemporary art pieces. He mostly works with silver and bronze and might included some stones.
Darius offers a very limited line of his artwear, from rings, cuffs, cufflings and hanging pieces but also collaborates on special order requests.
Some of his sources of inspiration are Pol Bury, Jean Després, Raymond Templier, FriedrichBecker in jewelry design, Richard Serra, Bernard Venet, Anish Kapoor, Denis Pondruel in contemporary art, Zaha Hadid, Hervé Tordjman, Jean Nouvel, Franck Gehry in architecture and Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Ron Arad, Karim Rashid in design.

"Each piece i create is a new challenge i give myself"

Designers often use different criteria when defining sizes. This is why we indicates the age to which the label size refers. To choose with greater accuracy, you may check, for clothing, the indicative height in centimeters corresponding to the age range that interests you. For shoes, we will recommend the most suitable size for that age.
